    Alexia Magallanes was born in El Paso on March 1, 20007. Unfortunately, Alexia was born with Optic Nerve Hypoplasia that has left her visually impaired. Just recently there was good news that her condition could be treated by umbilical cord stem cell injections. This procedure unfortunately is not available in the United States but is available in China. The procedure alone costs around $24,000 to $32,000 depending on how many stem cell injections the doctor may recommend. However, we are trying to raise $60,000 to pay for other expenses such as the air travel and stay expenses.
